The International Institute of Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy (IICAP) exists to deliver rigorous, accredited and genuinely accessible online education in counselling, psychotherapy and applied psychology.
Our mission
IICAP was founded on a simple belief: that high-quality training in counselling and applied psychology should not be limited by geography, schedule or background. Mental health needs are global — and so is the need for skilled, ethical, well-trained practitioners.
We bring together experienced clinicians, academics and educators to create courses that are academically credible and immediately applicable. Our learners include working healthcare and mental health professionals seeking continuing professional development, as well as those taking their first steps into the field.
