Accessibility statement

Our commitment to making IICAP usable by everyone.

Last updated: June 2026

Our commitment

IICAP is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • Use semantic HTML and clear heading structure.
  • Provide a “skip to content” link and full keyboard navigation.
  • Maintain sufficient colour contrast and visible focus states.
  • Label form fields and announce status messages to assistive tech.
  • Respect reduced-motion preferences and support text resizing.
  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We test with automated tools and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks, and we continue to improve as the platform grows.

Feedback

If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please let us know at enquiries@iicap.org so we can put it right.
