Participants explore community mental health, empowerment approaches, prevention and intervention strategies, social justice, advocacy, group work and community-based support systems. The course focuses on understanding psychological issues within social and cultural contexts and developing interventions for diverse communities, and through case studies, field-based examples, activities and practical tools, participants learn how psychological knowledge can be applied to promote community well-being and social change.
