Course overview
This 20+ hour course introduces the concepts, principles and applications of Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. It explores hypnosis, myths and facts about hypnotic states, relaxation techniques, guided imagery, therapeutic suggestions, subconscious processes and behaviour-change strategies, and introduces mindfulness concepts including present-moment awareness, mindful breathing, acceptance and emotional regulation. Through experiential exercises, demonstrations, practical tools and case discussions, participants learn how these approaches support stress management, self-awareness, emotional balance and therapeutic interventions.
Delivered as 20+ hours of live, interactive online training, the course combines lectures with hands-on live practice in real time, in small groups in breakout rooms, plus role plays, worksheets, therapeutic tools and case-study discussions. On successful completion you receive a certificate, having developed the confidence to apply these approaches in counselling, educational, organisational and community settings.
