Course overview
This course provides an introduction to Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), a cognitive-behavioural approach developed to understand and modify emotional difficulties. Participants learn the relationship between beliefs, thoughts, emotions and behaviours through the ABC model of REBT, and the course covers irrational beliefs, cognitive disputation, emotional regulation, rational thinking and practical REBT intervention techniques. Through examples, exercises and case discussions, participants understand how to identify and challenge unhelpful beliefs and help individuals develop healthier emotional responses and adaptive coping strategies.
This beginner-level course is delivered fully online and self-paced, with around four hours of pre-recorded expert content, practical worksheets, therapeutic tools and case-study discussions. On successful completion you receive a certificate, having built practical, application-ready skills for counselling, educational, personal-development and professional settings.
