Course overview

This course provides an understanding of the principles and practices involved in relationship counselling. Participants explore relationship dynamics, communication patterns, emotional needs, attachment styles, conflict resolution, trust-building and problem-solving strategies, and focus on helping couples and individuals understand relationship challenges and develop healthier patterns of interaction. Through case discussions, counselling techniques and practical exercises, participants learn approaches to facilitate effective communication, emotional connection, mutual understanding and constructive resolution of relationship difficulties.

This beginner-level course is delivered fully online and self-paced, with around four hours of pre-recorded expert content, practical worksheets, therapeutic tools and case-study discussions. On successful completion you receive a certificate, having built practical, application-ready skills for counselling, educational, personal-development and professional settings.
