Course overview

This 20+ hour course provides comprehensive knowledge and practical skills required for effective school counselling. Participants explore child and adolescent development, student concerns, counselling techniques, academic challenges, emotional and behavioural issues, career guidance, crisis intervention and parent-teacher collaboration. The course focuses on creating supportive learning environments and addressing concerns such as anxiety, stress, peer relationships, bullying, motivation and self-esteem, and through case discussions, activities, worksheets and practical tools, participants develop skills to support students' emotional, social and academic well-being.

Delivered as 20+ hours of live, interactive online training, the course combines lectures with hands-on live practice in real time, in small groups in breakout rooms, plus role plays, worksheets, therapeutic tools and case-study discussions.
